Blonde hair is actually a recessive gene, evolutionary selected due to its attractiveness to the male species. Evolutionary biologists attribute blonde hair with more strands per inch than any other hair type. Blonde hair also becomes darker with age, making it a solid indicator of youth and perkiness for females. As such, blondes are usually associated with being younger and therefore “less mature”.
