Christopher Gilbert Artwork…absolutely brilliant in creativity, content, and color!
It’s WHAT we do with the tools that are available for everyone these days that makes artists like yourself stand out.
the turn-table stove yeah!!!
There are some crazy DJ’s
This is completely photoshopped… i’ve seen a few shops in my day.
The pixels just don’t line up!
Ok, it is really disheartening that everytime anyone sees something beautiful online they immediately jump on it with “this is photoshopped. I can tell b/c the pixels don’t line up.” Just b/c it’s beautiful doesn’t mean it’s photoshopped … but Negro John … in this case … the reason it looks completely photoshopped … is because IT IS! The man is a digital artist … his work is photoshopped on purpose … he made it that way.
Caly, some of us tried to explain that to them, but they just want listen… Thanks for trying thou.
And Caly, see this link: http://www.magazine13.com/arts/jim-fiscus-photoshop-talent.html and read the comments…
yeah. That page is bad. It hurts my head how stupid people are sometimes. Especially as an art major, and moreover as an artist who is interested in making very similar work to this … it’s horrible that people are so stupid about what they see online.
i think this is lovely artwork,
but at the same time the fact that everyone is kicking off at the “flamer” for saaying photoshopped is hilarious.
“This is completely photoshopped… i’ve seen a few shops in my day. The pixels just don’t line up!” is a JOKE.
it was an internet Meme that went around ages ago, taking the michael out of people who really did say photoshop to everything.
and btw. bewing an artist myself its highly likely that he did use photoshop to manipulate the pictures, so the person would have been right anyway.
Great Photoshop work! Thanks for posting.
[...] Bellissimi! [...]
You have been trolled, silly persons.
go /b/, leave now
Christopher Gilbert artwork
Photoshopped.
“It hurts my head how stupid people are sometimes. ”
I know what you’re saying. Probably the same sort of people that don’t pick up on obvious jokes.
[...] Christopher Gilbert Artwork. NICE. [...]
i like the last one. “the black man’s continual pursuit of the white trophy.”
Maybe is opposite?
This was breath taking ART that I truly loved.
I love it! Such incredible talent. To be able to imagine the final product in your mind then bring it to life like that!
nice shitlocks herbert
@Dani, Disappointed: Guess what? Not everyone spends all day in their mom’s basement on the internet, so not everyone will get “the joke”.
That idiocy aside, the artwork is lovely.
its obviously a fish
Don’t friggin’ care if there photoshoped. Really. They’re good! Couldn’t freakin’ care less people, but what I do care about is …
“Anybody got the chic’s name ot number? I’ll write you a check!”
euphoria and cali, you cant honestly be calling people stupid, they are taking the piss, ofcourse they know its shopped, the reason they all say “i can tell by the pixels” is because its funny as hell to read your whiney replies
Don’t throw a tantrum, anyone. That first comment about photoshopping was the most blatantly sarcastic thing I’ve ever read.
I agree with it, of course. Totally photoshopped. The shading is all off.
The whole point I think some people are missing is the fact he is a photographer and a visual artist therefore his work has been photoshopped. No one matches his brilliance when it comes his art, just look at how completely amazing his creations are. I myself for the past week been researching effects tips and tricks how to turn a photo into something like DG’s work. It is impossible to find anything that comes remotely close. If anyone knows of sites, rough tutorials for Photoshop CS4 visual art then I would be so grateful for advice. I’m more paint and canvas however I am becoming fascinated with the world of visual art. Thank You
LMAO!!!
